The Lena Rose Membership
Opal and Jade — spa memberships in Chicago and Naperville
A small group of people who come here often enough that we know your name and roughly what your week has been like. One credit a month, good at both shops.
Opal is $122 a month and covers any one of seven services. Jade is $155 and covers five more — plus everything on the Opal list. Members take 10% off everything else.
Where the idea came from
Sixty petals, one drop
It takes 60 rose petals to produce just one drop of rose oil, one of the most prized oils in the world. It has been sought after for centuries for its floral aroma and its healing properties. Rose has a powerful effect on emotional wellbeing — comforting the heart, easing stress and anxiety, and encouraging self-love.
That is the idea behind the membership: a lot of small, regular returns adding up to something concentrated. A comforting, healing community of people doing good for themselves and for the planet, one hour at a time.
Not a discount card. A table with room at it.
Our Roses
The same faces, most months
That is really what the regularity buys you: enough of it that we learn your name, your pressure, the polish you keep coming back to, and what sort of week you have had.
Our Roses are Reiki certified, Level 1 and 2 — and every chakra therapy service is performed by a certified Reiki practitioner. They are also trained in oncology protocols, trained for chemical sensitivities, and have completed trauma-informed and gender-affirming training. Same team standard at both shops.
Two ways in
Opal and Jade
Same idea, two menus — and Jade includes everything Opal does. Pick the one that matches what you already book.
Opal — $122 a month
One credit every month, good for any one of these seven:
- Back Treatment — $135
- Seasonal Body Treatment — $150
- SOLE Revive Foot Massage — $120
- Chakra Support Body Treatment — $150
- Classic Manicure + Pedicure — $125
- Restore & Balance Scalp Treatment — $125
- 60 Minute Custom Facial — $160
Those are the à la carte prices, listed so you can see the arrangement for what it is: $122 a month, and the hour you book is usually worth more than that. No promotion, no tier to climb.
Plus 10% off everything else while you are a member.
Opal is $122 a month and you can start it online in about two minutes.
Jade — $155 a month
One credit every month, good for any one of these five:
- Dazzle Dry Manicure + Pedicure
- 90 Minute Custom Facial
- Moon Cycle Body Treatment
- Chakra Manicure + Pedicure
- Gel Manicure + Pedicure
A Jade credit also covers everything on the Opal list. So it is five longer services plus all seven of Opal's — and on a week when what you actually want is a scalp treatment or a classic manicure and pedicure, your credit covers that too.
Plus the same 10% off everything else.
Jade is month to month at $155. If you would rather handle it once, you can prepay twelve months at $1,860 — the same rate, just paid up front.
The practical part
How a credit actually works
One credit lands every month. Spend it on any service in your tier, and a different one each time if you feel like it — nobody here is tracking whether you have been loyal to the facial. If you are a Jade member, your tier is both lists: the five Jade services and all seven Opal ones.
Miss a month? The credit rolls over. Credits stay good for six months from the date you bought them, so a stretch where you simply did not get here does not cost you anything.
Memberships run for a minimum of three months, then continue month to month until you tell us otherwise — 30 days' notice to cancel. That is the whole commitment.
Your credits work at both shops — Lincoln Square in Chicago and downtown Naperville — so book whichever one you can actually get to that week. And for as long as you are a member you take 10% off everything else: extra services, retail, and the House Line we make by hand.
Still deciding what to spend it on? Have a look at the full service menu.
The room
Where the credit gets spent
Small, quiet, and set up for one person at a time. In April 2020 this treatment room was the Spa Snapshot cover of Skin Inc., the trade magazine for spa professionals — which is a nice way of saying the industry came to look at how we do it.
About the price
What you are actually paying for
“People think we are expensive because we’re natural, but actually we’re very competitive — because we take care of our team with living wages and benefits unheard of in the beauty industry.”
— Jenny
That is the honest answer. Every Rose here is W-2, paid a living wage, with benefits, building a career — in an industry that mostly runs on chair rental and tip math. We do not take tips. The number on the menu is the number you pay, and it already covers taking care of the person taking care of you.
A membership is that same arrangement, made steady. You get an hour you have already decided to take. The shop gets a rhythm it can plan around.
Lena Rose Love
From people who come back
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I have been coming to Lena Rose Beauty for the past few months for monthly facials and it is truly the highlight of my month. Highly recommend their facial services.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I can’t say enough good things about this place. I love that everything they sell and use is non-toxic (especially hard to find for nails!) I’ve been getting regular manicures and pedicures here for a few years now and even if I didn’t live close by I would commute. It’s worth it!
-Jenna B
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Lena Rose is UNMATCHED. Only spa I will ever go to from now on! Jenny and her staff are incredible — the kind of people you feel like you’ve know your whole life. It’s worth the drive from wherever you are in the Chicagoland area. We love a small, local, sustainable, woman-owned business!

Joining the membership
Pick your tier and join online — it takes about two minutes. Opal is $122 a month, Jade is $155, and your first credit is good at either shop.
If you would rather handle Jade once a year instead of monthly, you can prepay twelve months at $1,860 — the same rate, just paid up front.
Ready to commit to yourself for the year? Opal paid annually is $998 for twelve months — that is $83 a month against the $122 monthly rate, and one decision instead of twelve.
So you know before you start: memberships run for a minimum of three months, then continue month to month with 30 days' notice to cancel, and credits are good for six months from purchase.
Sign up at whichever shop is yours. Credits work at both either way.
Membership questions, answered
What is the difference between Opal and Jade?
The list of services your credit covers — and Jade's list contains Opal's. Opal is $122 a month and the credit covers any one of seven: the Back Treatment ($135), the Seasonal Body Treatment ($150), the SOLE Revive Foot Massage ($120), the Chakra Support Body Treatment ($150), a Classic Manicure + Pedicure ($125), the Restore & Balance Scalp Treatment ($125), or a 60 Minute Custom Facial ($160).
Jade is $155 a month and covers any one of five longer services — the Dazzle Dry Manicure + Pedicure, a 90 Minute Custom Facial, the Moon Cycle Body Treatment, a Chakra Manicure + Pedicure, or a Gel Manicure + Pedicure — and everything on the Opal list as well. So Jade is twelve services, not five, and you give up nothing from the Opal side by choosing it.
Both include 10% off everything else. If what you usually book is a 90 minute facial, gel, or Dazzle Dry, Jade is the one. Otherwise Opal.
What if I don’t use my credit one month?
Nothing bad happens. It rolls over. Credits stay good for six months from the date you bought them, so a busy stretch does not cost you the credit — and no one is going to call you about it.
Can I use my credit at either location?
Yes. Credits work at both shops — Lincoln Square in Chicago and downtown Naperville. Book whichever one you can get to that week. Just double-check which location you have chosen at the end of booking; people land in the wrong one more often than you would think.
Is this a discount program?
No, and we would rather say that plainly. Members do take 10% off, but if the 10% is the only reason to join you will be happier just booking when you want to. The membership is for people who already know they want an hour here most months and would rather it be a standing arrangement than a decision they make twelve separate times a year.
Can I cancel?
Yes, and here are the terms in full so nothing is a surprise. A monthly membership runs for a minimum of three months. After that it continues month to month and you can cancel any time with 30 days' notice. Credits you have already paid for stay yours and are good for six months from purchase, so stopping does not take anything you have banked. Prepaid plans — the twelve-month Jade and the annual Opal — are paid up front and run the full year.
To cancel, email hello@lenarosebeauty.com or tell whoever is at the front desk. Nobody will ask you why, and nobody will try to talk you out of it. Life changes and a membership should be able to change with it.
I’m not ready to commit to a membership.
Then book an hour. That is genuinely the whole answer. Most of the people who come here are not members, the membership is not a door you have to walk through to be welcome, and nobody at the front desk will bring it up twice. Come in, find out whether once a month is actually your rhythm, and if it turns out that it is, we will still be here.
How do I join?
Online, in about two minutes. Pick Opal or Jade at Lincoln Square or in Naperville and your first credit starts right away. Jade can also be prepaid twelve months at $1,860, and Opal can be paid annually at $998 for the year. Or tell whoever is at the front desk next time you are in — we can set it up there too.
And if a membership is not for you
Just want your hour?
Most of the people who walk in here are not members and never will be, and they are not the wrong kind of client. If what you want is one quiet hour that belongs to you — a manicure, a magazine, and no conversation about energy unless you start it — that counts. That is most of what we do, and it is the part we would protect first.
Getting your battery from 8% to 15% is healing. Come as you are and book the hour.
