If you need the room quiet, the diffuser off, the door measured before you arrive, a price that doesn’t change with your gender, or a chair you can actually get into — it is already here, and it is already included. None of it costs extra. None of it needs a reason.
Tell us in your booking notes or on the phone and we will have it ready before you walk in. Or tell us nothing and let us ask. We take care of the human in front of us, at both shops, every appointment.
Our Roses
Trained for this
Our Roses are Reiki-certified, trained in oncology protocols and trained for chemical sensitivities, and they have completed trauma-informed and gender-affirming training.
Every accommodation on this page exists because a real person asked for it first. If yours is not listed, ask anyway — in your booking notes, on the phone, or at the front desk. Nobody here needs a reason, and nobody is going to make you produce one.
Accommodations
Silent Appointment
We understand that some clients prefer or need a peaceful, quiet experience. In these cases, we limit conversation to essential instructions only, and earplugs are available upon request.
Wheelchair Accessible/Limited Mobility Appointment
If you use a wheelchair or have limited mobility, please mention it in your appointment notes or when speaking with us by phone. This allows us to prepare in advance and ensure your experience is smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable. We’re happy to provide door measurements if needed and can adjust nail stations or treatment rooms to accommodate your needs.
Muted Scents
If you are sensitive to smells, please let us know. We’re happy to keep treatment rooms free of diffuser scents and neutral smelling products to help make your experience as comfortable as possible.
In Cancer Treatment
Our Roses are trained in oncology protocols, so you do not have to make your case at the front desk or wonder whether we can take care of you. Tell us where you are in treatment when you book — in your appointment notes or by phone — and we will set the room, the pressure and the products to suit, in consultation with your care team.
If you would rather talk it through before booking anything, call us and we will.
Pregnancy & Postpartum
Let us know how far along you are when you book, and whether you are more comfortable sitting up. We will position you accordingly, leave out anything we do not use during pregnancy, and keep the room free of scent if that is where your nose is right now.
Every product on our shelves has already been reviewed by us, so there is no ingredient list for you to vet on your way in.
Hearing Impaired
We're committed to making your visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Written guides are available to help you explore and choose services with ease, and online booking provides a convenient way to schedule appointments at your own pace. We're happy to accommodate your communication preferences to help ensure a smooth and welcoming experience.
Anxiety/Stress
We offer fidget toys and weighted neck wraps for clients who find them helpful in managing stress, anxiety, or restlessness during their appointment. Our goal is to create a comfortable, relaxing environment where you can feel supported and at ease throughout your visit.
Gender Inclusivity
We are proud to offer gender-neutral services and pricing, with no differences based on gender identity or expression. Our team has completed Hair Has No Gender education and is committed to providing thoughtful, personalized care in an inclusive space where every guest can feel comfortable, respected, and fully themselves.
Bringing a Guest
As a woman-owned business, we understand that you may need to bring your children to your appointment. At Lena Rose, they are always welcome. We kindly ask that you bring something to help keep them entertained so we can ensure a calm and relaxing experience for all clients.
However, we kindly ask that adult guests remain in the waiting area during your service, as treatment rooms are designed to support a calm environment and limited space for movement.
If a client under the age of 18 is receiving a hair removal service, a parent or guardian may accompany them into the treatment room upon request.
