For someone with sensitive skin
Start with fragrance-free and short ingredient lists. Everything in our Sensitive edit was vetted with exactly this in mind, and our Roses are trained for chemical sensitivities — so if you'd rather ask a person than read a label, ask.
For someone new to all this
Don't hand them a ten-step routine. A body oil or a bath soak from the House Line is made by hand, it smells like something they already love, and it doesn't ask them to change one thing about their bathroom.
For someone who just needs an hour
Sometimes the gift isn't a thing. An hour that belongs to them — a manicure, a facial, nothing to figure out — counts as healing too. Start at the location picker and we'll take it from there.
Questions people actually ask
Do you sell gift cards?
We do. Lena Rose gift cards start at $10 and you can buy one online any time — it's digital, so there's nothing to wait on in the mail. The front desk at either shop can sell you one too.
Can a gift card be used at both locations?
A gift card bought here works on lenarosebeauty.com and at the front desk in both shops — Lincoln Square in Chicago and downtown Naperville. Appointments are booked through a separate system, so if you want a card to go toward a service, call the shop or email hello@lenarosebeauty.com first and we'll make sure it lands the way you meant it.
Can I give someone a service instead?
Yes, and this one is worth a two-minute phone call rather than a click. Appointments are booked by location, so tell us which shop they'll be going to and roughly what they're after, and we'll sort out the rest. Email hello@lenarosebeauty.com or call the front desk.
Can I ship it, or pick it up?
In-stock orders go out within two business days, and carrier transit time is on top of that. A few House Line things are made by hand in small batches, so if yours needs a little longer we'll email you the same day rather than leave you wondering. If you'd rather come get it, choose local pickup: Lincoln Square (4645 N Rockwell St, Chicago) usually has orders ready in about an hour, open for pickup Monday and Wednesday through Friday 10am–7pm and Saturday and Sunday 9am–6pm. Naperville (14 W. Jackson Ave) usually needs about a day, open Wednesday through Friday 10am–7pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am–6pm. Anything tight on timing, email hello@lenarosebeauty.com and we'll tell you straight.
What if they have sensitive skin or allergies?
Tell us before you buy. Every product on our shelves was vetted by us, our Roses are trained for chemical sensitivities, and we would much rather talk it through than have you guess. Email hello@lenarosebeauty.com or call the shop. And if something does cause a reaction, send us photos, a note and the product back — we'll refund you, opened or not.
