Our full waterless head spa. Choose your oil (rosemary and lavender, rosemary and lemon, or peppermint and tea tree), then a tuning fork, pressure points at the brow and temples, warm oil poured slowly from the hairline back, steam, jade combing, and a hand and foot massage to finish. Available at both shops.

Scalp Treatment + Massage · 20 min · $50

Warm oil worked through the scalp and twenty minutes of steady, unhurried pressure. A smaller ritual for a lunch break. Available at both shops.

Why waterless?

Most head spas are built around a wash basin. Ours isn't: everything happens on a warm table in a private room, and the oil stays in afterward to keep working. Wear it home for two to three hours, or overnight, then wash as usual. Book it on a day you can wear your hair back, or slip it in before a quiet evening at home.

Questions

What is a head spa?
A treatment for your scalp the way a facial is for your face: warm oil, massage, steam and lots of quiet. Ours is waterless.

Will my hair be oily afterward?
Yes, on purpose. Leave the oil in for two to three hours or overnight, then wash at home. A pillowcase you don't mind is a good idea.

Can I give it as a gift?
Yes. Lena Rose gift cards work for any service at either shop.

Do you take tips?
No. Lena Rose is non-tipping: the price on the menu is the whole price. Every Rose is a W-2 employee on a living wage with paid leave and benefits.
