Local Organic Skincare, Grown in the Midwest
From Seed to Service
Farm-to-Table Skincare
Your skin deserves the same care as the food on your plate. As Jenny puts it: “I don't think it starts on a shelf. It starts in the soil.” Our House Line is made by hand in small batches in our Naperville lab, organic and local wherever we can source it, and it's what we use in your treatment.
Fresh, Local, Intentional
Meet Our Farmers
We source from Midwest growers who farm with care, and from Jenny's own micro-farm in the suburbs.
Green Eyed Lady Farm
- Lavender and herbs, hand-harvested and dried.
Smits Farms
- A local farm partner for herbs we use in our blends.
Jenny's micro-farm
- At home in the suburbs, scraps feed the chickens and the beds grow some of the herbs and flowers in the House Line. In her words: “I am trying as best I can to be regenerative on my land and build a closed loop ecosystem.”
Real People, Real Passion
Why Local Matters
Herbs grown close to home spend less time traveling before they reach a jar or a treatment room, and buying local keeps our money with growers in our own community. We're honest about the rest: we're mostly organic, not all organic, because some ingredients, like clays and many essential oils, can't be sourced that way. Local where we can, organic when possible.
Better for the soil, better for the community
What we source (and why your skin loves it)
Ingredients
Lavender (Green Eyed Lady Farm): soft and floral, the scent most people exhale to.
Rosemary: green and bright, lovely in a scalp massage.
Peppermint + Spearmint: cool and tingly on tired feet.
Thyme: warm, earthy and herbal.
How It All Comes Together
These herbs are dried, infused or blended into our masks, steam blends, scalp oils and body treatments, and into the House Line. Whether it's the rosemary in your scalp massage or the calendula in your face mask, it started as a plant in the soil.
Every House Line batch is made by hand, in small batches, in our Naperville lab. No mass production, no shortcuts, just seasonal skincare rooted in real plants and real people.
Why this Matters
Freshness: Herbs grown close to home and used close to harvest.
Transparency: Ask where an ingredient came from and we'll share it with you.
Sustainability: Fewer miles between the farm and the jar.
Community Connection: We're proud to support small farmers, herbalists and makers in our region.
Experience the Difference
Our farm-to-table approach is more than a trend—it’s a return to what skincare is meant to be: whole, nourishing, and connected to the earth. You’ll see it in the colors, feel it in the textures, and smell it in every inhale. At Lena Rose, skincare is a seasonal ritual, handcrafted with care from soil to spa.
