Beauty is an industry known for wage theft, labor trafficking, and workers breathing chemicals all day. We built Lena Rose to be the opposite of that. Every Rose is a W-2 employee on a living wage with no reliance on tips, with medical, dental and vision insurance, abundant breaks, and a safe place to work: air filtration, non-toxic products, and a team that has each other's backs. We buy from farmers and makers who treat their people the same way, and we use our voice for salon workers everywhere, especially the women and communities of color most exposed to toxic chemicals.
In doing this we commit to the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work. If we ever fall short, anyone can tell us through our grievance procedure.
