A lightweight, garden-scented face oil for combination skin that's dry in some spots, shiny in others, and tends to act up when life gets stressful. Whole-flower infusions and antioxidant-rich seed oils calm the look of redness, keep skin moisturized and leave a healthy glow, not a greasy one. It's vegan.
Who it's for: Combination skin, skin prone to mild congestion or breakouts that come and go with your cycle or a hard week, and mildly sensitive skin that does fine with a very low level of essential oils.
Key ingredients: Raspberry seed and açaí oils bring carotenoids and vitamin E to help skin recover from sun and stress. Jojoba, meadowfoam and sunflower help lock in moisture. Calendula, three kinds of chamomile and helichrysum calm the look of redness and help soften the look of marks left by breakouts. Clary sage and rose geranium help balance oily and dry areas, and their soft aroma invites a few slow breaths.
Why we carry it: Live Botanical is made by an herbalist in small batches in Portland, Oregon, mostly from plants grown across the Pacific West. We first carried the line in 2018 and are so happy to have it back on our shelves.
How to use
After cleansing and any water-based serum or mist, warm a few drops between your palms and press onto damp skin. Take a few deep breaths as you go; the scent is part of the ritual. For extra hydration underneath, try the Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum, and on clarifying nights, the Illuminating Exfoliating Serum.
