Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum

44.00 USD

Clean hydration, nothing extra. This light, clear gel has just four ingredients: hyaluronic acid in several molecule sizes, cold-processed aloe vera, green tea hydrosol and a gentle ferment. It cushions skin with water so it looks smoother and plumper, while aloe and green tea calm the look of redness. Vegan and free of added essential oils.

Who it's for: Every skin type, including the most sensitive and reactive. Dehydrated skin that feels tight even when it's oily. Anyone building a simple routine, or who wants a hydrating layer that plays well with their face oil.

Key ingredients: The hyaluronic acid is made from plants through fermentation and kept at about 1%, with no ultra-tiny molecules, a thoughtful choice for sensitive skin. The aloe vera is cold-processed and IASC-certified. Green tea hydrosol sits close to skin's natural pH of about 5.5.

Why we carry it: Live Botanical is made by an herbalist in small batches in Portland, Oregon, mostly from plants grown across the Pacific West. We first carried the line in 2018 and are so happy to have it back on our shelves.

How to use

After cleansing, press 1 to 2 pumps onto damp skin, then seal it in with a few drops of face oil or your moisturizer. Dry skin: mix a pump with your oil in your palm to make your own custom moisturizer. Oily skin that prefers a matte finish: layer serum, then oil, then a second thin layer of serum. It pairs beautifully with the Harmony Calming Oil or the Sanctuary Barrier Balm.
